No way, is this Maddie from SF? This is Jared, I used to meet you guys at Pier 39! I was going to culinary school back then (2006-7), you guys even came to my birthday party! Haha I just started playing this game again recently.

Don't feel too bad. Most official PIU charts don't work on Pro at all. :( If you ever get a chance to play Pro 2, definitely do. It's really set itself out as its own game (not a PIU ripoff or a desperate move to feed starving ITG players), as it has a great soundtrack and MUCH better original charts.

I feel your pain! Our pads don't work now so getting scores is impossible most of the time. But Bouff is really hard for me regardless. :P
(I live in the same city as Pink Rose now btw :O)

Hey! I'm doing pretty good. How about yourself? :) Aw, what made you take a break for so long?
From DarkCore on 8/11/2008 Received Modify
LOL, yeah that seems like something I would've done a year ago. Over the summer, I had unlimited access to a machine on freeplay, so I guess that really helped also. =P Anyway, thanks for the compliment, haha.

Sorry if the challenge is hard ;.;! I find that Soapy Bubble is one of those songs where you all of a sudden "get it" and you improve it a lot. So if you try it a few times, I think you'll 96 for sure! Good luck~ : )

It's interesting that you mention the term "above average". Whose "average" are you thinking about? You live among the best players in the WHOLE COUNTRY. You know, if you put the whole thing into perspective, I'm "above average" at ITG. Hell, I'm an expert at it if you think of it that way. Expert skill starts at an ability to do Expert charts, right? Do you think I suck? Frankly, I could have been perfectly happy playing level 6-8 charts for the rest of my life; in fact, for the first two years of my dance game career, I played on an old Pump mix that had nothing but Freestyle charts. Nothing was harder than the equivalent of an 8 on ITG. And yet, everything was FUN. But there was something in ITG that made me keep playing it, made me want to get better at it. And I think I've gone far enough. I seriously believe that the FUN stops at Level 11. 11's are no longer made to be fun. They're made to be painful, exhausting, and just to make you hurt yourself. And I think that takes the whole point out of a game. I mean, when it comes to my piano, I'm willing to spend 3 hours at a time just playing some passages over and over again until I get everything absolutely right; I'm willing to make myself tired and frustrated over it, because it's a part of my studies and I take it seriously. BUT ITG IS JUST A GAME. If it stops being fun, it's lost its purpose. And do you really think it's FUN to try to get 99% on 11's and shit? It certainly wasn't meant to be. So you see, I really don't play anything on ITG anymore that isn't fun for me, and I do my best not to worry about what anybody else can do. In fact, I'm glad that I played long enough to find some 9's and 10's "fun" too, but that's good enough for me. And hey, I may never quit ITG for life as long as something in it is still "fun" for me. Just look at my SN here. ;)

"Summer ~Speedy Mix~ Expert: 85.59" !!!

I give up. Why the hell do I play this fucking game anymore. Now I really feel like quitting. And yes, I am serious.

You were right. For Hardcore of the North,Expert, 5x and Hallway IS beautiful. I passed it today out of the frickin' blue with those mods. O_____________O

Glad you got to play Pump, hope you enjoyed it. I recently passed Canon-D on Crazy; it's an amazing classical remix alright, but it's a 20, and it's like the Pandy of Pump. Really happy about that. And I gotta say, Winter owns the sorry ass off of V even though they're remixes of the same piece. If you ever get to play again, try Moonlight. An 18, and kind of like the Summer of Pump. ;)
