Mari's Profile

My name is Mari. I have the BEST boyfriend ever, John Beck! He also plays DDR and ITG. I have a kitty named Ryu, and we all live together in beautiful Santa Cruz, California, where we play ITG3 at the Beach Boardwalk.

I've been an on/off again player since 2005.

I've met so many great people by playing this game. I first started playing on a DDR Extreme. The machine I prefer though is ITG. I've played on quite a few different machines from Santa Cruz, to Nevada to Arizona. Including a few rare machines, like a Solo Bass. I'll make a list eventually of all the machines I've played on.

I've yet to play on DDR 2013 (although I've played on 2014), DDR 1st mix, DDR 2nd mix, and I've played on DDR 3rd but not all of the Korean 3rd mixes.

I'll accept any reasonable challenges! =) so send me one. :) I need goals.

Old Goals from 9-5-10
I started playing 10's in January, and am down to all but one song. Soapy Bubble. (PASSED ALL BUT SOAPY WHICH IS C+)
I can get half way through Utopia (11 footer expert), so I plan to make it my first 11 footer to pass.(COMPLETE)
Another goal, is to beat out my boyfriend at at least ONE song. I just need to beat him at ONE song, Hard or Expert. However, hard is more reasonable for me. (VERY COMPLETE)


Completed Goals
7/7/11: I have 12 songs I beat John Beck on. We are tied with 3 songs.
5/08/201: Beat my boyfriend's top score on an Expert 10 footer!
1/1/11: Beat all 10 footer experts in 2010 with a B or higher. (EXCEPT for Soapy Bubble expert). Also passed a couple of 11 footers!
9/26/2010: officially passed (USB confirmed) an 11 footer expert. (Charlene, next day I passed Destiny)
2/13/15: Passed all 11 footers on ITG 3 machine.

as of 2/25/15:
Have beat my boyfriend at 10 hard songs, tied with 1, and 1 expert song.
Have passed all 11 footers at local arcade ITG 3 machine.
Passed all 10's with a B or higher, except Soapy Bubble (c+)


I realized, for my first quad star (100%) I am ranked #100. =)
