I've been playing DDR/ITG since Fall '04, and I had a lot of stepmania keyboarding experience prior to playing on pad.  I attended Penn State University for 2 years, and I got started in DDR when I joined the club there (mostly SM+CF's).

After a year ('05-'06) of non-stop ITG'ing at the Corner Pocket machine at PSU, I transferred to Rutgers University which is only 20 min from 8otb.  My playing frequency was sporadic at best after the move though, and I phased out of playing by the end of 2007.  For 2008 through July 2010, I basically stopped entirely.  Now that I'm commuting to Rye, NY for my job, I am using the Sportime USA machine as my means of physical fitness.  I'm back to playing at a consistent frequency, so I'm getting PR's again.

FYI, too lazy to upload/link screenshots anymore.  I'm sure no one really cares anyway.  I always use Overhead and Robot noteskin, and I don't re-calc out pad-crap, no matter how painful.

8/2/10 - Finally got to ** average for expert singles.
9/1/10 - *** average for 9's and finished **'ing all 10's
9/15/10 - 50 expert ***s
10/18/10 - 80% average rank on GS
11/3/10 - 75 expert ***'s
