VARIABLE: (12 Nov 15)

it's been about a decade since i've last visited here when the arrowstomp trend started to die, but in the past year I decided to buy a Pump It Up Pro 2 arcade machine and thus i've been trying to get good at these games again.

Currently i have a goal of 99'ing Nine 9's.  Since setting that goal a week ago, i've done it on 3 songs.  We'll see how long it takes me to do 6 more.

CONSTANT:

i don't pretend to be anything other than myself, either in or out of the context of bemani/dance games.  it's worked pretty well for me so far.

as far as i'm concerned, i'll never be great at ITG/PIU.  it's too tiring and i'm too old to gain much more stamina than i already have.  But i don't plan on stopping playing for a long time.  it's still fun, especially the modded marathon courses/progressives.

i would not be the arrowstomper that i am without Dyaus and the Pacific Northwest bemani community from the early/mid 2000s, and for that, i am forever grateful.
